Job Summary
Operate and maintain flow monitoring equipment and SSES across all product lines, including installing flow monitors and rainfall gauges within sewer lines. Perform flow monitor calibration, collect and review sewer flow and rainfall data, and inspect manholes using manual or telemonitoring methods. Conduct flow isolations, smoke testing, dye water flooding, and site inspections while maintaining accurate records and ensuring vehicle and equipment safety. Adhere strictly to safety work procedures, policies, and quality instructions. Travel and work overtime as required, completing all necessary training and certifications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to operate a company vehicle
- Ability to perform all of the physical requirements of position
- Good mechanical skills
- Manual dexterity
- Willingness to work outdoors
- Physical and cognitive ability necessary to do confined space entry and perform rescue operations when necessary
- Basic knowledge of electronics
- Ability to function in a team environment
- Willingness to travel
- Willingness to work in the physical conditions present in a sewer
- Willingness to foster a healthy safety culture
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed
- Ability to obtain safety training and certifications (OSHA 10 Hour, confined space, CPR/First Aid, defensive driving, spotter's training)
- Standing and walking for long hours
- Use hands and fingers to control, handle and feel objects
- See details of objects from a distance
- Lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds when necessary
- Work outside year-round in all conditions present

Desired Qualifications
- AS or BS degrees in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science or Geology
- GIS experience
- Preferred experience/knowledge with smoke testing
- Preferred experience/knowledge with manhole inspections
- Preferred experience/knowledge with CCTV sewer inspections
- Preferred experience/knowledge with flow monitoring
- Experience in field related work
