Job Summary
Engineering/Environmental Technician responsibilities include using drone technology and survey equipment for volumetric calculations, monitoring construction management and design compliance, learning and assisting with air quality testing procedures and equipment, and assisting with water management through surveying and sampling procedures. The role emphasizes collaboration across teams, data-driven decision making, and contributing to safer, smarter, and more sustainable energy operations. Candidate should have a BS/AS in civil or environmental engineering technology or closely related experience, strong surveying/engineering knowledge, proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Carlson Software or similar, drone photogrammetry software, and GPS-based surveying equipment; must meet pre-employment checks and physical requirements. Preferred qualifications include advanced certifications (PMP, PE, Six Sigma) and experience in energy generation, regulatory permitting, and project management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in civil or environmental engineering technology, or very closely related equivalent experience and/or education.
