Job Summary
Design and develop electrical components, assemblies, and systems while creating and maintaining schematics, 2D drawings, and 3D CAD models. Lead engineering analyses, support design reviews, and manage engineering change processes and configuration control. Prepare documentation including drawings, specifications, BOMs, and reports to ensure compliance with ASME, API, and ISO standards. Support prototype builds, testing, validation, and data collection; provide field service support and assist with troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and sales teams to solve complex customer problems. Maintain up-to-date product information and create marketing materials. Requires a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, five years of experience, and proficiency with CAD software.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline from an accredited University
- 5 years of previous engineering experience
- Understanding of core mechanical engineering principles
- Basic proficiency with 2D and 3D CAD software
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Exposure to manufacturing, testing, or product development environments
- Familiarity with industry-specific standards, materials, or processes
- Clear background check within company and customer requirements
- Must be able to pass drug & alcohol screening
- Lifting up to 25 pounds
- Bending, stooping, ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to travel
- Clear driving record in accordance to company driving guidelines
