Engineering Document Control Administrator

Job Summary
Lead and manage IT structures for LP’s digital engineering assets, including defining and maintaining document control processes for capital projects; drive SharePoint site development, workflow automation, and governance; coordinate with LP IT on security and licensing; provide training and first-level support on engineering software packages; gather and archive controlled documents, drawings, models, and assets from projects; partner with external design groups to implement LP’s design and drafting standards; support ongoing pilots, data migration, and user adoption for engineering documentation and digital assets; work across corporate functions to ensure conformance with policies and drive efficiency in capital project execution.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Engineering, Applied Science, or related field
- 4-6 years of experience as a practicing professional in engineering or capital project management
- Demonstrated experience managing engineering and technology protocols
- Demonstrated experience managing projects and processes in a matrix organization
- Thorough understanding of engineering software such as AutoDesk Software Suite, BIM 360 Project Management Software, Revit, Inventor, ReCap Reality Capture, and Navisworks
- Knowledge of building products industry and manufacturing processes preferred
- Ability to design and conduct pilots, analyze data, and provide recommendations to Engineering Leadership
- Ability to communicate effectively
