Job Summary
Build and lead high-performing teams across multiple geographies, translating strategic objectives into executable plans and measurable outcomes. Drive delivery excellence for Identity & Fraud products serving 500+ B2B clients globally while championing an AI-native mindset through automation and data-driven decision-making. Modernize legacy approaches, simplify engineering practices, and accelerate adoption of new platforms, tools, and ways of working. Partner closely with product, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to align priorities, remove blockers, and deliver scalable solutions in a global matrix environment. Own workforce planning, talent strategy, and succession planning while ensuring decisions reflect appropriate governance, security, and enterprise risk standards. Set and manage budgets, vendor relationships, and resourcing decisions to ensure sustainable delivery capacity. Represent engineering in senior leadership forums, providing visibility on risks, dependencies, and progress against strategic commitments. Coach and develop people managers within the organization to strengthen leadership capability at the next level.
Required Qualifications
- Strong people leadership experience - coaching and developing global engineering teams
- Proficient in Java full stack, .NET, AWS, EKS, Devops, Claude, Cursor based engineering and deployment practices
- Expertise in building strong relationships with teams and leaders globally and influencing decision making using a data driven approach
- Experience using AI tools and driving adoption across the team
- Demonstrate a strategic mindset while staying close to execution and driving delivery of solutions
- Solves problems with a business-first and technology-informed mindset
- Adapts quickly and works effectively through ambiguity
- Champion an AI-native mindset by embedding AI, automation, and data-driven decision-making into engineering practices, delivery models, and team problem-solving
- Act as an agent of technology change by leading modernisation, simplifying legacy approaches, and accelerating adoption of new platforms, tools, and ways of working
- Serve as a solution provider for complex business and technology challenges, bringing structured thinking, sound judgment, and pragmatic decision-making
- Lead with flexibility and adaptability in a global matrix environment, working effectively across time zones, cultures, functions, and leadership levels
- Build collaborative relationships across regions to enable consistency, knowledge sharing, and effective execution in a globally distributed organisation
- Ensure decisions and execution reflect appropriate governance, security, compliance, and enterprise risk standards
