Engineering Director for Corporate Giving responsible for leading the engineering organization across Deed, Bonterra Grants, and disbursement services; own the product roadmap in partnership with Product leadership; drive migration from legacy platform to new standalone service; ensure SOC 2 compliance; collaborate with enterprise clients; focus on scalable architecture, AI-assisted delivery, and cross-functional leadership to support $500M+ in annual disbursements.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 5+ years in engineering leadership
- Director level or equivalent experience
- Track record of building and scaling multi-team engineering organizations
- Experience owning or co-owning a product roadmap
- Experience with TypeScript/Node.js and AWS serverless
- Familiarity with SOC 2/PCI-DSS or equivalent compliance
- AI-first mindset and use of AI coding tools
- Strong communication with enterprise clients and senior leadership
