Engineering Director - Advisory Services

Engineering Director - Advisory Services leads R&D, QA/QC, and external capacity building to advance Fika’s bridge-design capabilities. Oversees development of new bridge typologies (including steel truss and long-span designs), maintenance requirements, life-cycle management, QA/QC strategies across country programs, and technical-policy development. Manages engineering standards, design guidelines, and technical resources; represents Fika in publications, conferences, and external engagements; requires undergraduate degree in civil/structural engineering, PE/SE or equivalent licensure, 8+ years of related experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office; role may be remote or hybrid within country programs in Rwanda, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, or Kenya, with travel as needed.
