Engineering Designer-Mechanical

Mechanical Engineering Designer needed to join McKim & Creed's Building, Energy and Infrastructure group in Orlando to provide design services for mechanical, plumbing and fire protection systems. Responsibilities include producing mechanical, plumbing and fire protection design/construction drawings and specifications for institutional, commercial and industrial facilities as part of a multi-discipline project team; completing design tasks within budget and schedule while coordinating with the Group Manager, Project Manager, Sr. Mechanical Engineer and design team. Candidates should have 2+ years of related experience, Revit proficiency, and a 2-year degree or vocational certificate (BS preferred). Strong technical and communication skills, the ability to work both independently and on a team, and capability to perform field surveys (including climbing ladders) are required. A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are necessary; a BS in Mechanical Engineering is preferred, and FE/EIT is desirable.
