Job Summary
Lead a team of 8-10 software developers by driving project planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring alignment with business objectives. Provide technical guidance, make critical decisions to meet milestones, and establish engineering best practices to foster continuous improvement and operational excellence. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Clinical Informatics, and Delivery teams to translate complex customer requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions. Manage rapid customer execution alongside the development of reusable platform capabilities within cross-functional Solution Delivery Squads.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of hands-on technical leadership and/or people management experience of a team of at least 10 software developers
- Proven experience managing software engineering teams in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex software projects on time and within budget
- Full stack web development experience
- Strong expertise in software development methodologies and best practices
Desired Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Education or exposure to healthcare or life sciences, with emphasis on HL7 FHIR
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as GCP or AWS
- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing development teams
