Job Summary
Engineering Delivery Manager overseeing end-to-end engineering delivery for defense/naval systems. Responsible for the triptych costs, schedules and quality across engineering projects (systems, software and hardware and all sub-elements), translating needs into requirements, shaping the development strategy, and governing delivery processes (on time, on costs, on quality). Manages technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, coordinates with project managers, product line managers, and solution architects, and ensures high-quality engineering solutions for naval customers. Requires a strong background in telecommunications, networks, cybersecurity, and familiarity with naval contexts; experience with system engineering practices (Chorus II DDQS preferred), requirements tools (DOORS, POLARION), and Lean/Agile/KANBAN methods; knowledge of JIRA is advantageous. The role is based at Thales SIX France in Gennevilliers and involves collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams with potential security clearances for defense information access.
Required Qualifications
- Higher education Bac+4/5 (master's level) in engineering or equivalent
- First experience in project management (internship or apprenticeship acceptable)
- Knowledge of telecommunications and networks
- Knowledge of cybersecurity
- Familiarity with naval/military domain is appreciated
