Job Summary
Define and own the engineering delivery strategy, developing roadmaps that balance innovation with practical execution while championing Agile methodologies. Break down project scope into actionable work packages, allocating resources and budgets to manage risks and ensure technical compliance across hardware and software designs. Unify cross-functional teams and serve as the primary technical interface for project managers and design authorities, translating complex challenges into clear action plans. Oversee financial health of technical activities and create contingency plans for schedule, cost, and technical risks. Requires 7+ years in technical project management within defense, aerospace, or security sectors, with fluency in English and French/Dutch.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering (Electronics/Telecommunications preferred)
- 7+ years in technical project management or multi-disciplinary engineering leadership
- Proven ability to deliver complex, high-stakes projects in defense, aerospace, or security sectors
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, system/software architecture, and IVVQ (Integration, Verification, Validation, Qualification)
- Fluent English (mandatory)
- French/Dutch (strong plus)
- High standards for technical delivery, with a focus on innovation, quality, and continuous improvement
- Problem-solving mindset, always seeking optimal solutions to technical challenges
- Ability to break down complexity into structured plans, enforce processes, and hold teams accountable
- Resilience in fast-paced environments with competing priorities
- Command respect and drive alignment among diverse stakeholders (engineers, customers, executives)
- Inspire teams with clarity, adaptability, and a results-driven approach
