Job Summary

Coordinate engineering and manufacturing activities by maintaining bills of material, updating product specifications, and ensuring documentation accuracy within ERP systems. Initiate and coordinate Management of Change activities, track project deliverables, and support continuous improvement initiatives across Engineering, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams. Perform product verification activities, analyze data using Excel, and resolve documentation issues to maintain operational excellence. This role supports product launches and ongoing manufacturing operations at the Carol Stream facility, requiring strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and accuracy.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Business, or a related field
  • Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, operations, product management, or technical functions within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience maintaining BOMs, engineering documentation, and product records
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, or similar platforms
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and production operations
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Understanding of Bills of Material (BOMs) and product structures
  • Familiarity with manufacturing workflows, routing structures, and production systems
  • Basic understanding of quality systems, corrective actions, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and process improvement techniques
  • Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis functions
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Dynamics, Epicor, or similar manufacturing systems
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and engineering drawing interpretation
  • Understanding of BOM management and engineering documentation control
  • Experience supporting Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs)
  • Strong project coordination, organization, and time management skills
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams
