Job Summary
Engineering Coordination Lead supports the Engineering department with administrative, organizational, and coordination duties, maintaining technical documentation, maintenance logs, permits, certifications, and archives; coordinates preventive and corrective maintenance administrative activities; manages the Engineering budget and prepares periodic reports on costs and performance; organizes meetings and coordinates internal/external correspondence; supports audit, compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards; collaborates with Finance, Procurement, and HR to ensure effective information flow and alignment; based at Hotel Danieli, Venice, with a requirement to work on-site. Requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and at least 1 year of administrative/coordination experience; familiarity with CMMS/ERP, strong Excel skills, excellent document management, and fluent Italian with good English; travel/remote-work not indicated, role is full-time at the Venice location.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related fields
- Minimum 1 year of experience in administrative or coordination roles
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and/or ERP systems
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong document management and reporting capabilities
- Understanding of purchasing procedures and supplier management processes
- Excellent organizational and planning abilities
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent Italian required
- Good command of spoken and written English
