Job Summary
Engineering Contractor Specification Specialist to identify prospective engineering firms, specifiers, GCs, and EPCs; promote the company's value proposition; develop and tailor specifications; build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers; assist contractors and technicians with job takeoffs, CAD drawings, and BIM modeling; prepare proposals and bids; stay informed on industry trends and market conditions; conduct sales presentations and demonstrations; track activities and outcomes using CRM tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering or related field (preferred)
- Strong technical knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with results orientation and ability to meet/exceed sales targets
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
- CRM proficiency and experience with sales tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience collaborating with specifiers, GC's, EPC’s and engineering firms
- Proficiency in CAD drawings and BIM modeling support
