Job Summary
Learn transformer and inductor design basics, review customer inputs, and generate design outputs while performing component verification. Assist with prototyping, complete bill of materials, and engineering drawings under supervision, then conduct hands-on testing, modeling, and analysis. Partner with multi-disciplinary engineers to create tools that enhance design accuracy. This co-op role offers exposure to Standex Electronics' technology, test processes, and manufacturing environment to support magnetic product development. Candidates must pursue an engineering degree and demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/Outlook/PowerPoint)
- Familiar with testing equipment (Oscilloscope, LCR, DMM, PSU)
- SPICE
- Soldering
- Pursuing a degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (EE/EET/ME)

- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of completing test and engineering reports and presentations
