Job Summary
Process point-cloud data, field photographs, and measurements to digitize aerial telecommunications infrastructure and create accurate 3D models. Compare information across multiple programs and datasets to ensure models match real-world conditions, identifying missing or conflicting details and raising questions early. Complete detailed modelling assignments while meeting quality and productivity expectations, documenting your work and contributing ideas to improve workflows and efficiency. This role supports active infrastructure projects across British Columbia within the modelling, geomatics, and Pole Loading Analysis teams, offering structured training from experienced professionals.
Required Qualifications
- Interest in infrastructure, telecommunications, mapping, data, or software
- Comfort learning new tools and systems
- Strong problem solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Organization and time management for multiple concurrent tasks
- Clear communication
- Collaborative, respectful work style
- Familiarity with Google Workspace or equivalent productivity tools
- Engineering/technology, GIS, computer science, or related discipline program
Desired Qualifications
- Experience or familiarity with AutoCAD/Revit
- Experience or familiarity with GIS/CAD tools
