Job Summary
Co-op program in a manufacturing environment offering hands-on engineering experience. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining work instructions, process specifications, and tolerances; troubleshooting manufacturing challenges; providing technical support to the manufacturing team; collecting and analyzing process data to identify opportunities for optimization; supporting experimental production trials; collaborating across engineering, production, QA, and maintenance; desarrollar project schedules, manage timelines and budgets, issue purchase orders, and liaise with vendors and suppliers; overseeing equipment installations and start-ups; and contributing to continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives. Candidates should be pursuing a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field, have strong documentation and communication skills, and be able to work cross-functionally under mentor guidance.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in a technical field related to project engineering and management, manufacturing (preferred: Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related)
- Enrollment as a sophomore, junior, or senior
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite (Office, PowerPoint, Teams, Word, Excel)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
- Experience with effective documentation practices for project responsibilities
