Job Summary
Determine design parameters during kick-off meetings, write advance and additional purchase requisitions, review proposals and customer specs for issues, and prepare detailed drawings and shop order forms. Run blueprints for customer approval and shop fabrication, keep weekly time records, and observe shop progress to advise engineers on existing or potential problems. Work with Engineering Manager or Project Engineer to solve equipment installation issues and complete other duties as assigned. Maintain a safe workplace, communicate difficulties promptly, and meet all deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Provide proof of U.S. citizenship due to NOFORN data access requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Sponsorship for employment visas is not available
- Must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited to, reference verification, post-offer drug testing and background check
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Must have access to reliable transportation
- Must provide proof of US Citizenship
- Attest that you do not have dual citizenship
- Acceptable proof of US Citizenship is a US Passport, US Birth Certificate or Naturalization Certificate
- Ability to competently perform all the essential duties of the position
- Demonstrated commitment to effective customer service delivery
- Ability to work productively as a member of a team or work group
