Engineering Candidate - Water Wastewater

Engineering Candidate in Water & Wastewater based in Barrie, Ontario. Responsibilities include assisting with the design and implementation of water & wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations, conducting asset inventory reviews, hydrant flow/C-factor testing and hydraulic modeling; preparing design calculations, reports, and project coordination/management; preparing submissions and cost estimates, tender documents, specifications and construction contract documents; performing construction inspections and assisting with contract administration (RFOs, change orders, invoices); interacting with clients and external parties as required for project needs. Requirements include a Degree in an Engineering program, eligibility for PEO as a candidate for professional engineer in Ontario (P.Eng. preferred), 1–3 years of relevant engineering experience (co-op included), strong communication and interpersonal skills, technical and analytical capabilities, proficiency with design/analysis software and Microsoft Office, knowledge of relevant legislation/standards, and a valid driver’s license.
