Job Summary
Provide technical support to the commissioning, operation, maintenance and de-commissioning of medical equipment in a hospital setting. Supervise specialist vendors and contracted personnel to ensure quality and standards compliance. Collect and update feedback from users on maintenance, performance, reliability and quality. Investigate faults/complaints/hazards and assist BME engineers in mapping actions. Ensure works meet hospital quality standards and manage stock/spares for frontline technical support. Assist BME engineers in coordinating services for medical equipment projects with vendors and contractors. Perform other duties as assigned by BME engineers.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma preferably in Electronics / Biomedical Engineering OR Vocational Training Certificate in Electronics / Electromechanical / Mechatronics Engineering with practical experience of at least 5 years
- Good communication and supervisory skills
- Customer service oriented
- Positive work attitude and ability to work with all levels of staff
- Basic IT skills
