Job Summary
Support calibration and validation activities for advanced controls software, including Battery Management Systems (BMS), Thermal Management Systems (TMS), and Energy Management Systems (EMS). Assist calibration engineers in executing test plans, collecting data, and analyzing results from vehicle, bench, and simulation testing environments. Perform calibration parameter updates, maintain datasets, and prepare reports based on test findings to identify performance improvements. Collaborate with controls, systems, and software teams to troubleshoot issues and support successful program execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (or currently pursuing) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field
- Basic understanding of electric vehicle systems, batteries, thermal systems, and vehicle control architectures
- Knowledge of control systems fundamentals and calibration concepts
- Familiarity with data acquisition, data analysis, and engineering testing methodologies
- Exposure to calibration tools such as ETAS INCA, ATI Vision, CANape, CANalyzer, or similar software
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and basic scripting using MATLAB or Python
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to analyze large datasets and interpret engineering test results
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Professional communication skills (oral and written)
- Motivated team player capable of working in a fast-paced product development environment
