Engineering Assistant Co-Op (MI) - Dec. 2026-April 2027

Organize the work crew's daily tests based on weather, track conditions, personnel availability, and client requests. Review and ensure compliance with testing standards while creating and reviewing ASTM F1805 test conditions and sequences. Record daily environmental and test track conditions, then report and track productivity. Monitor daily test data including traction coefficients and environmental conditions to identify trends. Receive incoming test tire shipments, ensure security of test tire samples, and communicate with the engineer. Assist the engineer as directed and work independently to complete tasks. This co-op position runs from December 2026 to April 2027 for candidates pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with relevant coursework.
