Job Summary
Hands-on maintenance engineering apprentice program in a fast-paced bakery environment. Learn and perform preventative and scheduled maintenance on plant equipment and machinery; troubleshoot and repair equipment stoppages; operate machine shop tools and fabricate required parts; maintain cleanliness and safety; contribute to a highly functioning team; engage in on-the-job training plus in-school instruction; relocation may be required to support program needs; licenses may be required by city or state to work with boilers and refrigeration to qualify for full-time employment after program completion; ability to commit to at least 20 hours per week on the job alongside schooling; proficiency with enterprise software for data input, retrieval, and reporting as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of or enrollment in a curriculum of approximately 40 hours of industrial maintenance with 9 extra hours of PLC training.
