Job Summary
Senior Engineering Applications Administrator responsible for administering and supporting PLM, CAD, and CAM systems (notably Siemens Teamcenter and NX) within GM PPU’s engineering and manufacturing IT environment. Key duties include architecture, deployment, maintenance, user support, training, documentation, security, access management, and ensuring compliance with internal policies. The role collaborates with IT, engineering, and manufacturing to align application capabilities with business objectives, operates independently to proactively resolve technical challenges, and contributes to continuous improvement in a fast-paced motorsports context.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive, senior-level experience in system architecture, system administration, and user support for engineering applications
- Deep expertise with Siemens Teamcenter and NX software including but not limited to BMIDE, ACL rule tree, workflows, query builder and projects
- Proven ability to independently manage complex projects and installations
- Strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience training users and creating technical documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
- No specific certifications or licenses required
