Engineering and Maintenance Manager

Job Summary
Lead and oversee the Engineering & Maintenance function for the Monterrey chemical blending site, managing a team of nine colleagues in engineering, facilities, and technicians. Drive a preventive maintenance culture to ensure equipment reliability while leading continuous improvement initiatives related to Maintenance and Facilities. Manage external vendors, including site security and service providers, and lead capital projects end-to-end regarding budget, timeline, and execution. Monitor and optimize departmental costs and KPIs, championing a strong safety culture and safe working environment. Participate in investment planning and CapEx strategy to accelerate performance and capability growth.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in chemical, mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role leading a team
- Experience ideally in the manufacturing sector within a multinational company
- Proven experience leading capital projects and equipment installation
- Vendors & contractors management
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance
- KPI's management
