Job Summary
Enable high performance of the supply chain facility by fostering a reliability-centered maintenance culture that ensures high equipment availability. Provide strong leadership to Maintenance Technicians, Utility Attendants, and EAM Software Technicians while cultivating urgency and quality focus. Deliver solutions for challenging problems, manage external contractors, handle multiple projects, and meet tough timelines. Develop a continuous improvement ethic through data-driven daily processes focused on root cause elimination. Improve system reliability through ownership in defect handling, breakdown elimination, and planning. Oversee all on-call emergencies, conduct safety investigations, and promote safe working practices across the site. Manage the overall health, reliability, and life cycle of material handling equipment, lighting, power distribution, and the OTR trailer fleet. Approve financial expenditures for parts and validate contractor work quality. Own accuracy of performance metrics and develop shift hand-offs to ensure continuity. Lead the development and coaching of team members, including performance management and reviews.
Required Qualifications
- 4- year degree in Engineering or related fields, or equivalent experience
- Previous supervisory experience in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to read, interpret, and effectively communicate necessary policies and procedures
- Ability to manage, lead, and influence others on a team while prioritizing multiple projects
- Experience with multi-contractor management
- Self-motivated and customer-centric
- Excellent PC competency
