Job Summary
Execute preventative maintenance, moderate repairs, and major improvements across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and guest room systems. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures, calibrate instruments, and fit new parts into existing systems to minimize downtime. Manage HOTSOS tickets and CAPEX projects, maintain accurate log records, and read blueprints to ensure safe, professional operations. Respond immediately to emergencies with 24/7 availability, resolve landscaping issues, and collaborate with other departments to support guest activities. This role requires a minimum of three years in hotel engineering and two years in laundry equipment, with a high school diploma.
Required Qualifications
- Hotel, institutional, HVAC systems with a minimum of 3 years of experience
- Laundry equipment with minimum of 1 -2 years of experience
- Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, life safety systems, preventative maintenance systems and all related engineering disciplines
- High School Diploma
- Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Regular and on-time attendance
- Hours occasionally exceed 40 hours per week
- Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
- Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis
- Ability to stand during shifts
- 24/7 availability to cover work shifts and or emergencies
