Engineer - Wind Loading

Engineer sought to join RWDI’s Wind Loading team in Milton Keynes. Responsibilities include assessing wind impact on safety and comfort for new buildings, planning and coordinating technical work, conducting fluid flow modelling and wind tunnel testing, collecting and analyzing data, preparing technical reports, and providing QA/QC guidance. Collaboration with design engineers and architects, and guidance from senior staff. Ideal candidate is a recent graduate or 1–2 years of wind loading experience, with strong written communication, initiative, and ability to work in a fast-paced consulting environment. Preference for candidates with wind tunnel experience, CAD proficiency, and programming/scripting skills (e.g., Python, C#, VBA, C++).
