Job Summary
Lead design, development, and implementation of instrumentation & controls systems to enhance plant safety, reliability, and performance for nuclear power plant modernization and new projects. Manage technical work independently while mentoring developing engineers and supporting complex engineering efforts across legacy analog and modern digital control platforms. Provide leadership in project execution for upgrades and new builds within the nuclear industry. Locations include Stonington, CT; Charlotte, NC; Williamsburg, VA; Perry, OH; or remote arrangements with periodic travel to client sites and the Zachry office.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in nuclear power plant modernization
- Experience in plant upgrades
- Experience in new plant projects
- Expertise in legacy analog systems
- Expertise in modern digital control platforms
- Ability to independently manage technical work
- Ability to support project execution
- Ability to lead complex engineering efforts
- Ability to mentor developing engineers
- Experience supporting client and project needs
- Willingness to travel to client sites
- Willingness to travel to Zachry office locations
