Job Summary
Lead Turbine Instrumentation design for hydroelectric projects by creating P&IDs, instrument lists, and wiring diagrams in EPLAN or AutoCAD. Interface with control systems, mechanical assemblies, and suppliers to manage signal routing, marshalling box wiring, and installation coordination. Drive technical excellence through design reviews, root cause analysis of field failures, and cost-saving strategies while maintaining first-pass yield. Generate and verify technical documents including specs, installation, and O&M instructions. Support manufacturing and field teams with issue resolution and corrective actions. Prioritize parallel project work packages and act as technical referent for sub-assemblies within a global matrix environment.
Required Qualifications
- B. E. / Master's degree in Instrumentation Engineering from an accredited university or college
- At least 3 years of strong experience in same filed
- General Knowledge of size electrical equipment and functional diagrams
- Good Interpersonal Skills
- High level of Competency in AutoCAD
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Hydro turbine will be preferred
- Strong technical aptitude, including analytical calculations, applicable engineering tools and systems
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
- Ability to influence others and lead small teams
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Effective problem identification and solution skills
- Experience working with suppliers, OEMs or customers
