Job Summary
Lead Turbine Instrumentation design for hydroelectric power station projects, creating P&IDs, instrument lists, and wiring diagrams in EPLAN or AutoCAD. Interface with control systems, mechanical assemblies, and suppliers to validate designs, resolve NCRs, and drive root cause analysis for field failures. Execute cost-saving strategies, manage parallel project work packages, and ensure compliance with industry standards through formal design reviews. Support manufacturing, sourcing, and field installation while acting as technical referent for sub-assemblies and customer-facing presentations.
Required Qualifications
- B. E. / Master's degree in Instrumentation Engineering from an accredited university or college
- At least 3 years of strong experience in same filed
- General Knowledge of size electrical equipment and functional diagrams
- Good Interpersonal Skills
- High level of Competency in AutoCAD
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Hydro turbine will be preferred
- Strong technical aptitude, including analytical calculations, applicable engineering tools and systems
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
- Ability to influence others and lead small teams
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Effective problem identification and solution skills
- Experience working with suppliers, OEMs or customers
- Passion to contribute for innovative solutions, cost-out actions and process improvement
- Ability to work in a global matrix team environment
