Job Summary
Design and produce traffic engineering design projects including traffic impact studies, operations studies, capacity analysis, signal design, timing, signing, striping, lighting, and traffic control plans. Assist in the analysis, design, and implementation of these projects while delivering excellent client service as a consulting engineer. Utilize traffic analysis software such as Synchro, HCS, Arc GIS, VISSIM, and TransCad to support forward-thinking, cost-efficient solutions that shape communities worldwide.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Working knowledge of traffic analysis software (Synchro, HCS, Arc GIS, VISSIM, TransCad)
- An understanding of local agency rules and regulations
- Great client service capability
- Technical specialization
- Proactivity
- BS or MS in Civil Engineering (transportation emphasis preferred)
- Applicable P.E. required, or ability to obtain PE within 6 months
- 3-7 years' industry experience
- Good working knowledge of traffic analysis software, including Synchro, HCS, Arc GIS, VISSIM, TransCad
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of State and local rules, regulations, standards, and procedures a plus
