Job Summary
Conduct routine inspections of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to identify issues and perform repairs such as fixing leaks and replacing faulty components. Respond promptly to emergency situations including power outages, water leaks, and fire alarms while addressing maintenance requests from guests. Collaborate with housekeeping, front desk, and emergency services to coordinate activities and ensure safety compliance. Maintain operational building systems and adhere to federal, state, and local regulations. Requires high school diploma, technical training in engineering, and physical fitness for lifting up to 100 lbs. Full-time or part-time roles available with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physical fitness and ability to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and operating equipment
- Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols
- Physical work is a primary part of many of our hotel and resort jobs
- Physical requirements include extended standing and walking, climbing, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and lifting to 50lbs -- 100lbs
Desired Qualifications
- technical or vocational training in engineering or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in hotel maintenance, facilities management, or a similar role is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
