Job Summary
Engineer through Senior Engineer for Transmission Management System (TMS)/Smart Grid team responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining TMS/DMS models and databases; troubleshooting model issues; ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance with NERC/ERCOT; partnering with TMS/DMS vendors on implementation and testing; applying strong database skills and knowledge of power system models, SCADA, and ICCP to support utility operations and grid reliability.
Required Qualifications
- Four year Engineering degree from an accredited University is required.
- Applicants with a NERC CIP certification are encouraged to apply.
- Experience with TMS/DMS modeling is encouraged.
- Two years experience with databases for Engineer level.
- Four years experience with databases for Engineer Staff level.
- Six years experience with databases for Engineer Sr level.
- Knowledge of Inter-Control Center Communications (ICCP).
- Working knowledge of SCADA processing.
