Engineer/Technologist - Land Development

Job Summary
Assist with the design and implementation of land development projects involving roads, storm and sanitary sewers, watermain, and stormwater management systems. Prepare design calculations, report writing, project coordination, and management while conducting construction inspections and assisting with contract administration. Submit applications for required approvals and prepare cost estimates, tender documents, specifications, and construction contract documents. Interact with clients and external parties as needed for project requirements. This role offers a collaborative environment with mentorship and professional development opportunities within a Canadian employee-owned firm specializing in municipal and land development engineering.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- 1-5 years of engineering design experience, preferably in the consulting environment
- Ability to obtain P.Eng. in the Province of Ontario or C.E.T/C.Tech designations
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication and technical writing skills
- Enthusiasm to work in a team structure and a willingness to guide, help and collaborate with others
- Understanding of relevant legislation, guidelines and standards
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and work independently under minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/French) would be an asset
