Engineer Technician II - CCSD

Receive, examine, and verify a wide variety of complex items and materials for wholesale supply chain functions. Process turn-ins to the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office and perform disposal tasks including reuse, salvage, and demilitarization. Inspect Due-In-From-Maintenance equipment and determine demilitarization requirements while serving as a local authority on precious metal recovery. Remove sensitive military components from equipment using small tools and ensure 100% physical validation of critical information prior to destruction. Work in warehouse and outdoor environments lifting up to 40 pounds, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM at various Lackland AFB and Port San Antonio locations. Requires a valid driver's license, high school diploma, and Secret/Top Secret clearance.
