Job Summary
Support fund accounting, financial data processing, and reporting functions by investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving application and data-related issues. Analyze integration and data processing problems using SQL, Snowflake, and Python to identify root causes and implement solutions. Monitor application performance, participate in root cause analysis for production incidents, and document operational runbooks and workflows. Collaborate with Product, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate delivery of financial data and support release management activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience
- Strong SQL knowledge and experience with complex data analysis and troubleshooting
- Experience working with reporting tools, Snowflake or similar cloud-based data platforms
- Experience supporting data transformation, ETL, integration, or data processing applications
- Experience in root-cause analysis, report generation, and technical documentation
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in technical support, application support, technical operations, or related roles
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge / experience in Python programming is preferred
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Clear oral and written communication skills in English
- Experience supporting accounting systems, financial systems, or applications used by financial institutions is preferred
- Understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial data processing is highly desirable
- Knowledge of data reconciliation, financial reporting, and data quality controls is an advantage
- Can-do and positive attitude with a strong ability to adapt in a constantly changing environment
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a global team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate and reliable results
