Job Summary
Manage and monitor all systems and infrastructure, including installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools across Linux VMs. Identify and automate operational tasks through scripting and application development, while patching Linux and Windows environments and tuning system infrastructure for maximum performance. Participate in an on-call rotation, evaluate new technologies, and ensure streamlined application deployments by collaborating with developers, operations staff, and end-users. Create and maintain documentation of infrastructure configurations and provide technical analysis to resolve problems and propose solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years building and managing infrastructure systems
- Experience with virtualization
- Previous scripting experience
- Must be a self-starter
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate and effectively collaborate with internal departments and other outside parties in a professional manner
- Working knowledge of git, Jenkins or equivalent
- Working knowledge of horizontal and vertical scaling for performance and high availability
- Top-tier analytics and problem solving
- Organization, and time management skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux based systems, Windows a plus
- Experience with Configuration Management tool like Ansible, Puppet etc
- Working experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux based systems, Windows
