Job Summary
Develop and integrate advanced technology to reduce aircraft detectability in the electromagnetic spectrum, including predictive analysis codes, physical models, and specialty materials. Design, build, and test verification equipment while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineers to optimize Low Observable platform integration. Perform Radar Cross Section analysis and apply advanced materials processes to enhance defense system survivability. Work full-time on-site at the Melbourne, Florida facility, with up to 25% travel required. This role supports Northrop Grumman's NGAS portfolio in developing revolutionary stealth systems that impact people globally.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline and 2 years of related engineering experience, OR a Master's Degree in a STEM and 0 years of related engineering experience
- Applied electromagnetics and/or aircraft survivability; or comprehensive understanding of electromagnetic energy transmission through space and within materials
- Experience in one or more CAD software solutions such as CATIA, Unigraphics, or NX
- Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance (must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company

- The selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site at our facility

Desired Qualifications
- Experience in signature integration, RCS design, analysis, and testing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to use CAE and/or FEA tools (i.e. FMS, Patran, Cubit, etc.)
- Proven experience with 3D Method of Moments (MoM) such as SENTRi and 3D Physical Optics (PO) codes such as Xpatch
- Programming experience in C++, MATLAB, Python, or other highly technical languages
- Knowledge and ability with RCS data processing tools, such as Knowbell, Saber, or Pioneer
- An active U.S. Government issued Top Secret security clearance and/or previous SAP/SAR clearance
