Job Summary
Lead and oversee structural engineering projects by developing and reviewing designs, performing complex calculations, and conducting site visits to assess integrity. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success, create technical reports for stakeholders, and ensure compliance with local building codes and safety standards. Mentor junior engineers, participate in project planning and resource allocation, and contribute to continuous process improvements. Requires a Master's degree in Structural Engineering, 6-12 years of experience, PE license, and proficiency in ETABS & SAFE. Based in Bangalore, India, this role supports Egis's mission to design intelligent infrastructure addressing climate challenges across transportation, urban development, and energy sectors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
- Master's degree in Structural Engineering
- Hands on experience in ETABS & SAFE
- 6-12 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on project engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification
- Extensive knowledge of concept design, buildability, detailed design, and construction techniques
- Proficiency in structural analysis software and 3D modeling tools
- Strong understanding of CAD standards and experience with 3D working environments
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in India
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality structural engineering solutions
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team development
- English mandatory
