Job Summary
Structural Technologies is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The role focuses on supervising junior engineers, coordinating design activities for major projects, leading initial project studies, and supporting sales approaches. The engineer will develop advanced structure models and perform gravity and lateral analyses using ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, RAM Concept, and prestressing/post-tensioning tools (ADAPT PT, ADAPT Floor). Key responsibilities include planning, scheduling, and coordinating documents to meet customer requirements, mentoring junior staff, and delivering technical presentations while maintaining a strong commitment to quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil/Structural Engineering, SE registration and SOE membership as an advantage, and strong proficiency in design development, regulation compliance, project coordination, and collaboration with customers, engineers, suppliers, and officials. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- SE registration at DM and SOE membership is an advantage
- Ability to supervise personnel and manage design activities
- Experience in leading initial project studies and contributing to sales approach
- Understanding of regulations and industry codes and standards
- Ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate documents and activities for major projects
- Proficiency in developing advanced structural models and performing gravity and lateral analysis
- Experience with ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, RAM Concept
- Experience with prestressing and post-tensioning software such as ADAPT PT and ADAPT Floor
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and develop team delivery
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Capability to deliver technical presentations and conduct effective meetings
- Commitment to quality and safety culture
- Experience in repair materials and strengthen solutions
- Ability to develop plan and delegate to team members
- Experience with design-build processes and infrastructure-related projects
