Job Summary
Design complete structural engineering projects including hydraulic structures, retaining walls, and vehicular bridges. Manage production of construction drawings, review contractor submittals during construction, and coordinate efforts with clients and in-house engineers. Assist in training less experienced staff and provide CAD assistance when necessary. Requires a Texas PE License, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Architectural Engineering, and 4+ years of Structural Engineering Design experience.
Required Qualifications
- Texas PE License
- at least 4 years of experience in Structural / Bridge Engineering
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Architectural Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Civil/Architectural Engineering with a Structural emphasis or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree
- MicroStation, Revit or AutoCAD training
