Job Summary
Develop, test, and maintain client-side and server-side components of complex maritime electronic software systems. Engage fully in the software development lifecycle from requirements analysis through deployment and support. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate technical requirements into efficient, secure applications using Agile methodologies. Apply industry best practices including rigorous code reviews, version control, and automated testing pipelines. Contribute to the evaluation and integration of emerging AI and machine learning technologies to enhance product capabilities. Provide ongoing support for software deployments to ensure uninterrupted system uptime in demanding operational environments.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence or a closely related technical field
- Proven experience as a full stack software developer
- Solid proficiency in modern programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with front-end frameworks like React or Angular
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with back-end frameworks including Node.js or Spring Boot
- Experience working with a range of database technologies, including relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
- Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs
- Competence in using software development tools
- Competence in supporting Agile methodologies
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Singaporean only
