Job Summary
Design, develop, and integrate software architecture, real-time control algorithms, and artificial intelligence for active safety and unmanned ground vehicle systems. Write embedded C and C++ code to configure hardware, manage motion planning, and provide application APIs. Perform engineering calculations, investigations, and feasibility studies while utilizing MATLAB, Simulink, and MagicDraw for system architecture. Mentor entry-level engineers and support senior staff in preparing designs and technical proposals. Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to execute job assignments, manage multiple projects, and ensure cost-conscious, reliable design through CMMI level 3 procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Three (3) or more years of related experience
- Accredited Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering
- Familiarity with C#, PLCs, Python, and SQL database
- Familiarity with embedded C/C++
- Regular attendance
- Routine shift hours
- Infrequent overtime, weekend, or shift rotation
- U.S. Person status (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or individual admitted as refugee or granted asylum)
