Job Summary
Engineer for Shipt's Enterprise Tools & AI Enablement team to own the organization's digital nervous system, managing the lifecycle of a SaaS ecosystem (Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365) to ensure reliability, security, and performance. Lead AI adoption initiatives (e.g., Slack AI, Google Gemini), build automated release pipelines, and enforce data governance. Translate technical roadmaps into strategic plans, manage complex cross-functional projects, partner with security and engineering to replace redundant tooling, and serve as a tier-3 escalation point. Strong automation focus to mitigate workplace friction while maintaining platform reliability. Requires 4+ years in software or systems engineering and proficiency in Python, Go, AI integration, Agile methodologies, SaaSops, Release Management, RBAC, and Enterprise Tooling Administration.
Required Qualifications
- At least 4 years in software or systems engineering, specifically designing and maintaining scalable SaaS architectures (e.g., Google Workspace, M365, Slack, Zoom, Zapier)
- Proficiency in Python, Go, AI integration
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Experience with SaaS operations (SaaSops) and Release Management
- Experience with RBAC and Enterprise Tooling Administration
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience
