Job Summary
Model optical simulations for scribe marks and provide design recommendations to tackle critical lithography challenges. Identify root causes for sophisticated overlay problems and lead multi-disciplinary projects addressing performance gaps on current and future memory nodes. Work with vendor teams to improve overlay scribe methods and standardize procedures across departments and fabrication sites. Define project plans for N, N+1, and N+2 nodes, craft strategic decisions, and summarize experimental progress in written reports. Advise senior management on technical overlay issues while integrating AI-assisted tools to enhance efficiency and quality.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of photolithography
- Understanding of the principals of photolithography and optical metrology
- Understanding of how lens aberrations, scanner chuck differences, and process variations can affect overlay
- Understand various alignment and overlay marks
- Understand how mark type and design can impact overlay errors
- B.S. in Engineering with emphasis on Lithography
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with semiconductor process integration
- Experience with overlay mark simulation software
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with multi-functional teams and suppliers
- Strong curiosity about research and development and ability to build production-worthy technologies
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
- Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role‐appropriate AI literacy to use AI‐enabled tools responsiblyand effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem‐solving, operational tasks, and achievingbusiness outcomes
