Job Summary
Lead engineering technical leadership in spray drying technology for amorphous solid dispersions, including solvent system selection and process parameter definition. Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing and development to direct activities, assess new technologies, troubleshoot issues, and drive productivity improvements. Develop experimental programs, scale-down models, and protocols; supervise laboratory experiments and ensure safety and high-quality outputs. Prepare technical reports for knowledge sharing and leverage external resources to stay current in the field. Travel up to 20% to support global sites and external manufacturing partners.
Required Qualifications
- BS Engineering or Science 8+ yrs manufacturing experience in a GMP regulated environment
- Demonstrated technical abilities in engineering for pharmaceutical manufacturing; experience with particle characterization and process modeling tools
- Advanced degree in engineering (MS or PhD) preferred
