Job Summary
Conduct testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using analytical techniques including HPLC, GC, MS, and spectrophotometry. Evaluate test data, document results, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives within an ISO9001-based quality management system. Investigate out-of-specification results and apply Lean/Six Sigma principles to ensure product quality. Work second shift from 2pm to 10:30pm Monday through Friday with a 10% shift differential, wearing required PPE in a laboratory setting.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in analytical techniques including HPLC, GC, MS, spectrophotometry
- Advanced Degree with no prior experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of experience
- Strong knowledge of ISO9001 quality management systems and quality systems requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in data analysis and investigation of out-of-specification results
- Strong documentation skills
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards (ISO, USP, EP)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow written/verbal procedures accurately
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Clear written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience with laboratory automation systems
- Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma principles
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in Quality Control
- Preferred Fields of Study: Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Molecular Biology or related scientific field
