Job Summary
Reliability Engineer position in Borger, TX at Nutrien focusing on reliability maintenance programs, KPI ownership, RCFA, PM development, and root-cause analysis for nitrogen-production assets. Responsibilities include facilitating cross-functional reviews, updating PM schedules based on time-between-failures, leading RCFA analyses, tracking top reliability issues, mentoring Reliability team members, and providing engineering support for rotating equipment, MI methodologies, MOC design, and TA-related overhauls. Requires a mechanical engineering degree and 3 years of related experience with vibration analysis, PM/PdM technologies, PSM knowledge, and experience with Ivara EXP, RCM II, and PM optimization; capable of independent contribution and team leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 3 years of experience in Reliability Engineer or Mechanical Engineering-related occupation
- Experience with vibration analysis, lubrication, thermography, or other PM/PdM technologies
- Proficiency with analytical, organizational and communication skills
- Experience with Ivara EXP, RCM II and PM optimization methodologies
- Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) Systems and processes
- Utilizing Mechanical Integrity (MI) methodologies, and applicable codes and standards (RAGAGEP)
- Investigating equipment problems and recommending design modifications to improve reliability, productivity and safety of Nitrogen production assets
- Leading and administering site reliability programs, including ongoing continuous improvement actions
- Ability to lead teams and work as a sole contributor
