Job Summary
Automation Engineering focus across UI, API, and batch testing with end-to-end validation of insurance workflows (policy lifecycle, billing, claims) plus backend data validation using SQL. Responsibilities include building and maintaining automated tests across web UI and services, creating reusable test utilities, executing and troubleshooting automation runs in local and test environments, identifying root causes, and contributing to test strategy and regression coverage. Also accountable for supporting SIT/UAT, validating integrations (payment gateways, document systems), and collaborating with BAs/SMEs/developers to ensure correct behavior across quotes, bind, issue, endorsement, renewal, cancellation, FNOL, and related processes. 30% CI/CD automation in pipelines (Azure DevOps/Jenkins), publishing results, defect reproduction, and collaboration to improve processes; 10% teamwork to foster a positive, professional environment and knowledge sharing.
